A good stay in a very nice city centre apartment

✓ Easy to collect once i know where it was, only a couple of hundred yards from the apartment but the streets of Birmingham can be confusing

✗ A key location near the building or a key locker at the apartment would have been better

✓ This apartment was lovely, clean and well furnished. The parking was secure with key fob entry and cctv so stress free. The location was perfect 5 minutes from the ICC and main city attractions. I highly recommend this property and host. The host was friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay.

✗ No loo roll in the flat when we got there - it was a pain to have to go shopping as soon as we got in.

✓ Apartment was good enough given the price. The staff and security at the apartment block were helpful and acted in good faith.

✗ The apartment lacked enough supplies in the kitchen, including dishwasher tablets and a dish sponge. The shower was broken, which the host knew about and didn't notify me in advance. The parking was wrongly arranged, leading to me getting a ticket, which the host said would appeal but hasn't got back to me since the stay. Once this was arranged, the car was broken into and items were stolen, thanks to the local homeless shelter. The security guard at the concierge at the time wasn't too surprised and the local police closed the case within the hour. Key drop off was also difficult, leading me to meet with the host in person, to which they didn't arrive in time, forcing me to leave they keys with the concierge anyway.

Good location and good value for money

✓ Great central location and a very spacious apartment. Good communication from owner regarding check-in and check-out arrangements. Beds and sofa were very comfortable. Excellent value for money.

✗ Would have been helpful to supply toilet roll and a tea towel for drying dishes. There was some traffic noise including at night. Some repainting and upgrading could make this apartment excellent.
