Filthy, cockroaches everywhere including in my bed, smell of ammonia and cigarettes kept me from sleep, did not feel com

✓ that I was able to book a stay just a few hours before

✗ The establishment smelled the bleach and ammonia, cigarette smoke and Indian food. The hallway carpet was stained and filthy, noisy occupants appeared to be drug addicts, entire families staying there long term and overall dingy people. it was a crushed cockroach remnant on the wall inside my room only to wake up in the morning to find cockroaches in the shower, bathroom, bedroom wall and even a small one in my bed! The ratchets smell of cigarettes and ammonia did not allow me to sleep and I got out of there as soon as I woke up without even taking a shower. Especially not after I saw a live cockroach in the shower! It was a nightmare experience and should not be listed on Booking.com!

NOT VERY GOOD BUT THE STAFF WAS TRYING.

✓ This visit to the budget was a disaster. When I first arrived the room they gave me had a missing shower curtain and the frame for the window curtains was pulled off the wall. I was switched to another room and the tv did not work because somebody pulled the cable out of the wall. The hotel now is also a shelter for homeless people, who obviously may have troubles and some have property and anger issues. I was told the tv would be fixed the next day but it wasn't . I asked for a another room but the tv in there was also not working. THE STAFF was trying to be helpfull but they need a full time person to keep up with the damage that seems to continue. I have been useing this hotel for over ten years and had no illusions about the class of hotel it was . But in the last year it has really suffered. I am not sure if I will ever be back.
