The Amsterdam was a lovely clean place to stay on Eagle Beach. Very close to beach (across the road, short walk). Clean beautiful white sand beaches, great restaurant Passions which we enjoyed great breakfasts and wonderful meals sitting along the ocean. TIP: Make a reservation to get a good seat to watch the sunset!!!! Try the great drink dirty banana from the oceanside bar. The hotel has lots of lounges down by the ocean under lovely huts of tropical grass. Tip - take or buy a float to float along the ocean and take your snorkel! We stayed in a two bedroom with two baths with kitchen and living room and balcony. Beautiful large rooms. Comfy beds, lots of towels and nice balcony to view ocean. The kitchen was well appointed with coffee maker, dishes, some cookware, etc. The hotel is very very clean and seems to take great pride in cleanliness and presentation. We were very pleased. Will stay here again and this stay was wonderful. Staff was wonderful. Easy access to high-rise area up the road to go shopping and restaurants or downtown to shop. We rented a car and this location is central to get around. There is a casino next door in the other hotel so it's fun to walk over and play if you desire. The hotels pool is small but very nice. The whole experience was lovely!!!!!

It is essentially on the best beach and away from the long line of chain hotels further north. Given the nearby grocery store and the resort's restaurants/bars, I was happy with my food and beverage choices. The tour operators all know the place so it's easy to be picked up for whatever activity you choose.

I couldn't always reach room service, which bothered me because I was trying to spend money for additional service and couldn't get it. There was a weird thing with the hot water in the shower the first 2 days, but the repair person came by and fixed it quickly.

I loved the location and also the European design and amenities

there wasn’t a single issue at all with the property except some guests drying their undergarments on drying racks outside their room

The property was clean and close to the beach. The restaurant Passions that was on the beach was excellent.

The restaurant on the property Mangos was closed all week. The faucet in bathroom was loose.

Thank you for your message. There are two bars on-site: Horizons bar (located above the pool) and Passions Beach Lounge (located on the beach).

Does the basic studio on this site include a king bed?

Is this an all inclusive resort?

Dear valued guest, We are not an all-inclusive resort. However, you can always add an "all-inclusive" package to your reservation. The All Inclusive Program is sold on property for an additional $150.00 per person, per day on top of the room rate. The price is the same for high and low season and includes service charge and tax.
