Cosy stay in a rural setting.
✓ It was very cosy and well equiped The beds were comfy and the pillows nice and soft. The hosts were lovely. It was nice being in an old manor with farms around it. Will highly recommend. Was different. Was wonderful to park right infront of the unit.
✗ There were lots of mosquitoes so go prepared. We had to carry our suitcases up and down a winding and very creaky staircase. We were a bit disappointed with breakfast which consisted mainly of bread and pastries. Some fresh fruit and butter and maybe cheese would have made a difference. The walls were surprisingly thin and you could hear the neighbors. But still a lovely place to stay.

✓ The setting was lovely and quite! Everything you needed a plus! Beds very comfortable! Owner very friendly and chatty! Made you feel welcome and at home!

✓ location was great, clean apartment with nice little garden where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast.
✗ one of the sleeping rooms did not have a window. For cooling a big fan was available.

Beautiful Cottage
✓ the cottage is beautiful and well maintained - in a good location close to a village. nice and spacious!

Quaint place to stay, just needs a bit more work to make it even better and safer
✓ This was a self catering 2 storey apartment. There was one bedroom on a mezzanine floor, one double bed and a single bed. You were able to screen off the 2 beds for privacy. There was a sofa downstairs that could be used as a double bed but no bed linen had been left for it and also the toilet was downstairs so people using it from upstairs would have to pass the other people in the downstairs bed, not ideal. Not an easy place to use the sofa double bed either. We managed just using the upstairs as we were 3 people. Kitchen area had fridge freezer, cooker, hob, kettle, toaster. Bathroom was a shower and toilet. The owners had only recently owned manoir de la Bégaudière. Stayed here 2 nights it has great potential!
✗ The apartment was tired and needs a bit of an update. The electrics needs to be sorted as many of the plug sockets are coming away from the walls. Dangerous if you have small children. No WIFI was found. Better signage off the main road as difficult to find.

Hello, The only gite with a bath on the ground floor is the surcouf gite. (Apartment with terrace - 2 bedrooms) Have a good day
