Location is perfect for the short walk to Jolly Harbour day time or evening. Also perfectly locating for experiencing at least 5 beaches very locally and within minutes. Lots of birds in the garden which is lovely in the morning. Very sunny swimming pool. The garden is well kept and very pretty. Lovely large veranda for breakfast. We also made use of the BBQ which was great fun for one of our evenings in.

Ffrye’s House is a really wonderful place to stay in Antigua. It’s well – situated on the island and close to a good number of the finer beaches. It has a great beach bar, restaurants and a supermarket very close. It’s right beside Jolly Harbour from where you can be picked up at the marina to go on excursions. The house has everything you could need to be comfortable. It’s very airy with high ceilings and the bedrooms are cool and shaded, all with bathrooms. There’s plenty of space so that you never feel closed -in. The lounge, kitchen and dining areas are large and very comfortable. There’s plenty of furniture for eating, sitting or lazing on the veranda and around the well – maintained, refreshing pool. The garden is home to very tame and hungry birds. The atmosphere in and around the house allows you to feel completely relaxed and at peace, exactly how you’d want to be on holiday. We fully recommend it to anyone.

Everything. was much larger than we expected, and more up to date. The photos do not do it justice. Was worried about walking down the Jolly Harbour but took 9 minutes and was no problem.

The villa is really spacious and the pool Is big! The owner set me up with their driver who gave us a warm welcome at the airport and took us to the house. The location of the villa is great for the best beaches - no more than a few mins in the car. You can walk to the supermarket and 1 beach (but it’s quite hot to walk!). The owner was really good at giving suggestions and recommendations for day trips/car hires etc. We have 2 small kids. The pool is great for kids - it’s shallow for half the length then deeper. Our kids loved it. There are bars and restaurants across the road from The villa and if you want more “British/American” you can wander down to the harbour. It’s really all On your doorstep.

The house has everything you could need in it. However it is quite tired-I think “luxury” is a little misleading. The fridge, kettle, dishwasher and coffee machine broke whilst we were there. Maybe we have very bad luck and I know there was a power cut that can surge and blow the fuses - but I also think some of the appliances are just due to be up graded. To be fair though - I wouldn’t let that put you off. It’s great value for Antigua, pool is huge, manager was friendly enough and the owner a great help To us in planning our trip. I’d probably go back.
