Very practical location

Extremely good choice for train travelers.
✓ Most of Pontresina is up a hill from the train station. When arriving by train it was great to only have to move our luggage about 100 yards to the hotel. Quiet, comfortable rooms, very adequate breakfast, and the included transportation ticket was wonderful. It covered the Rhaetian railway system, so going up to Bernina Diavolezza and Ospizio Bernina was free and convenient. Buses are also covered, so trips from the train station to St Moritz and Silvaplana were also easy. Great place to stay. Front desk staff friendly and multilingual.
✗ Really nothing except the distance to restaurants, shopping, and grocery store, but the bus pass makes those trips quick and easy.

✓ Location was excellent and despite being directly across from the train station, i was completely undisturbed by any noise coming from the station except for some minor traffic noise. Room was comfortable and breakfast good.

Modern, quiet hotel near the train station
✓ Modern hotel close to the train station, but still very quiet (room 204 on the opposite side of the hotel from the train station). Good breakfast.
✗ It was very warm in the room at night, even with the window open (cool outside). Restaurant - food was good, but the service personal were often disinterested. There were also lots of flies in the restaurant (apparently due to horse stables nearby?).

Fabulous
✓ Excellent location opposite the train station with bus connections too. Guest card was a bonus - free travel on local trains, buses and cable cars between St.Moritz and Diavolezza. Very good breakast, friendly staff and town of Pontresina just a short walk or bus ride away.

Excellent value for money! Awesome breakfast, nice rooms and facilities, great location.
✓ Very conveniently located hotel right opposite the train station. The rooms were very modern, clean, and quiet, great bathroom with shower gel, plenty of space in the wardrobe, and a small seating area. The breakfast was excellent, with LOTS of choices from cereals, different kinds of bread, hot plates, fresh fruits, etc. The restaurant is also very good for the evening. The staff is very helpful, maps are provided, and free use of transport for a section of the scenic train ride. There's a sauna at the hotel as well (which we didn't make use of).
✗ Our room was pretty small; for ice climbing with all the gear we had, the space for two people was a bit tight. One of the mattresses had quite an "indent". But value for money in Pontresina, this hotel for sure is very well worth the spend, given all the other much more expensive options!

walk off the train and into welcoming comfort. breakfast is amazing too
✓ I wish I had been able to stay longer at this hotel - lovely rooms, cosy bathroom, helpful staff and a great breakfast. I was en route to the glacier express though so could only stay one night but would love to go back and explore a bit more. my room faced the station but great soundproofing (though o did hear some horses go by - To my joy! and a snow plough around 0600 - also good news as it snowed all night
✗ nothing but I was sad the sauna wasn’t operating when I was there (& curios that I couldn’t co trim the heat in the bedroom which was a bit cold for me but the bathrooms underfloor heating was a marvel). the soap dispensers would be tricky if you were arthritic as you have to squeeze firmly

Hello, Yes it is free.You got ticket from us for a trains and buses and you can travel trought all engadin(inkl.sankt moritz)
