Apartamentos Anjomacar II

If you like peace and quietens, this is the place to go.

✓ The manager Leonardo was very courteous and very helpful, he went out of his way to accommodate me. The bed and pillows are super comfy. The decoration is perfect, white walls, neutral and modern. The apartment is cool. The place is bright and refreshing. The hair dryer is the best I have used and has a proper cool setting. There's a clothes rack outside of each apartment and communal washing machine near the office. The staff is always very helpful and polite. The place is beautiful, immaculate and very well kept. If you don't fancy driving, there are bus stops nearby to Arrecife and Costa Teguise and taxi services are great. Or you can hire a car independently or through the hotel. Lovely and tranquil surroundings which is exactly what I needed.

✗ Not the hotel's fault but there were a couple of male guests who smoked around, they also kept their door open while talking loudly, intrude on other guests privacy and sat right outside other guests door and private space to talk loudly and to smoke they even used other people's washing clothes rack to hang their washing. The issue was quickly and effectively resolved by the manager and the staff.

✓ The Wi-fi - you have your own, wired-in Wi-Fi router connected to a network cable - I've not seen this setup before and it's ingenious and worked perfectly. What else? It's all IKEA furnished. Not the expensive stuff - but still - decent and clean and very nicely done. The whole stay was great, I really like this place and when I next have guests (I live in Costa Teguise I had to stay away from my apartment due to some work that was being done) - next time I have guests, if they have a car, I will have them stay here because it's really good.

✗ Oh - nothing really. A couple of really minor things. It's advertised as having views of the sea, I was in a downstairs apartment, no sea views. Not that I cared. But technically - yeah - it should have sea views if you advertise them ;-) Oh they forgot to leave tea towels and kitchen sponges so I couldn't wash up as thoroughly as I wanted. I really clutching at straws here, everything was fine. I asked nicely and they brought a tea towel and some kitchen roll, I'm sure if I'd asked they would have brought a sponge I just forgot and was only here for 2 nights anyway. Overall a great stay though.

✓ Very nice little pool area. The room was very comfortable, very nice TV and the kitchen had everything I needed. A few bus stops nearby, close to Arreceife.
