✓ We have received the most warm welcome from the staff. The owner was very careful, the lady taking care of the house couldn’t be nicer. She was there every single day to make sure we had everything we needed. The language barrier was easily overcome with a translation application. The house is pretty well made and offers a comfortable stay. Well, it’s not the latest and the best quality according to the Western European standards but it’s still very well made. We loved the brand new and a super cool sauna just next to the house. That’s an absolute winner.

✗ The environment is typical Armenian, one shouldn’t be too quick when it comes to conclusions. There are things which might be somewhat annoying: dusty road, abandoned houses, old vehicles laying around … but it’s a part of the experience. In case it’s too much one should not travel in the first place. We have done some really cool tours in the mountains. It’s an absolutely undiscovered treasure, we have not met anyone whatsoever who would do the same. Except the numerous shepherds who are impossible to beat when it comes to welcoming the people passing by. Unfortunately we have also experienced the bitterness of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as we were there on September 13, 2022. That night the fire between the two opened. We wonder up to which point the vacation in Jermuk will be possible in the coming months. Let’s hope for the best!
