Villa Atulya at Ocean's edge

Beautiful building, great staff, great food.

✓ Things here were just fantastic for our group of 9. We had some parents, kids, grandparents, and us the buildings are laid out in such a way that we were able to move together or find privacy whenever we needed it. The adjacent rooms were perfect for family, and playing games, and we felt like we were in our own private beach paradise. The staff was always available and attentive, and were able to take our food orders early and have them served at our requested time. In addition to being timely, the food was delicious and the chef did a great job of accommodating our special requests. The hotel itself is a piece of art, full of beautiful furnishings, antiques, and lovely color choices. It's something just to look around and enjoy the architecture. Really loved this place. Will definitely come again and recommend.

✗ I can't say I didn't like this, but more of a notice to people planning to stay here. The beach is not a traditional sand beach stretching to the sunset. The beach has a lot of old stone and coral and swimming from there may be a bit limited. That said, there is so much amazing marine life and interest to explore when compared to a traditional beach, that it gave us and the kids with us a lot to enjoy. In addition, there is walk to a lookout just down the beach, and if you want to go to the traditional beach at Mirissa, it is just a short distance away.

✓ An absolutely outstanding villa. The staff were attentive and the food was exceptional. The facilities were everything that you could desire for a relaxing get away with friends. Location was excellent. Tuk tuks were easy to access following a short stroll down the path. The grounds and the pool were exceptionally well maintained. Absolutely exceptional value for money.

Chilled out place where you can feel at home!

✓ Everything here was very chilled. The staff were responsive when you asked them for something but otherwise left you to feel and make yourself at home. The breakfast was great and they were super accommodating for early arrivals.

✓ Staff was very attentive and friendly. Beds were very comfy and rooms were clean. You can provide groceries and they will cook whatever dish you like. Food was very good. Overall we had a great time. Thank you Villa Atulya.
