Great as always

✓ Right in the middle of the city but very quiet at night. A stones throw away from shops and restaurants/bars. Breakfast is great, cooked on the spot to your liking. Their is also a little kitchen which you can use if you want to cook something yourself and eat in the courtyard.

✓  hotel, Mari Carmen has a super location only two blocks from the ferry and on a pedestrian only street. It is close to many restaurants and there is a convenience store 1/2 block away. The hotel has very comfortable beds and linen. It is super clean and it feels like being in, an elegant museum. The hotel has a small kitchen that guests may use a nice little courtyard, comfortable sitting areas and there is always drinking water available. This hotel is a very very good value, at least during the off-season when we stayed here.

✗ Nothing not to like. if you have trouble with stairs, get a room on the main floor.

✓ The location is perfect. Center of the main shopping district, restaurants and only one block from the beach. No vehicles on the street out front just pedestrian The staff always very helpful. Rooms are exceptionally clean an well maintained. great shower! Breakfasts were basic but very good; exceptional coffee and a sunny second level outside dining. love the pet turtles wandering the courtyard.

✗ Band music from nearby club was a little annoying Friday and Saturday nights. Roosting pigeons cooing at night. Neither were a big concern for me. (shower floor very slippery; advise shower sandals
