Pleasant
✓ The single room was definitely more spacious than I had expected, especially for a hotel so close to the JR Sapporo station. The room and facilities were very clean.
✗ The staff who did the check-in on 24 July afternoon was very unpleasant, she waved off me and another guest towards the check-in machines without bothering to check with us what assistance we required, and it turned out both of us couldn’t be checked in using the machines and then she became frustrated with us. If the hotel wishes to use machines to help facilitate the speed of check-in, it’s a good move, but not if it means the staff become unpleasant and only wishes the guests to interact with the machines and not bother the staff.

✓ The hotel is a short 3-min walk from the JR Sapporo station. The room was very clean, spacious and had a lovely seating area. The decor of the room is very warm and cosy. The staff at the reception was lovely and friendly.
✗ The walk from the train station is not sheltered at all so if there is heavy rain it could be a problem when lugging suitcases.
