✓ Wasn’t told until after I paid that I’d have to do a 10 minute walk from the apartment to collect my keys

✗ The walls were covered in stains. Armchair leg was broken so I couldn’t sit on it. The Wi-Fi didn’t work. I was only given one half used toilet roll. The pans and utensils in the kitchen were dirty. Also wasn’t told that I would have to do a 10 minute walk from the apartment to collect my keys. I stayed in this apartment when it was first let out and it was a great experience. However, they clearly have put no effort into the upkeep.

✗ communication with property owners/staff lacking. Having to collect and drop off keys at a local shop (5 mins away- hard with lots of luggage). Not as clean as should be, flimsy slatted blind in bedroom that didn’t in any way block out the light. cleaner knocked a day earlier than I was due to leave, woke me and tried to ask me to leave (got days mixed up and didn’t apologise). location a short walk from centre but in a dodgy/slightly derelict street.

✓ Very spacious, clean, fully equipped, wonderfully comfortable bed and beautiful view.

✗ I couldn't complain. It was a bit hurried to take the keys back but that was a minor point.

✗ I couldn’t cook because the pans were disgusting. this was my reason for booking apartment so I didn’t have to buy take aways. There was a bad smell throughout the building. Found someone’s leggings in washing machine along with the towels which I washed myself. I mailed and messaged host but did. it get acknowledgment.
