Ideal basecamp to discover the Lorri region
✓ It was a lovely stay in Ecolife lodge. Koryun, the manager, was very kind and helpful. Despite being located a bit outside the center, we could reach good restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Plus, Stepanavan is the perfect spot to discover the surroundings of Lorri region, as it is very central and much more beautiful than Vanadzor from my perspective. Hotel is very calm and everything is actually beautiful. I am sure it's a nice green spot in the summer. Since we were there in winter, rooms were well heaten and comfortable. I would totally recommand this place and i hope i'll come there again.
✗ Owners were really kind and helpful, even though they could not fix a problem with a lamp on the balcony. I am usually not too sensitive to light when I sleep, but in our room, it was a bit too shiny to sleep well... I recommand to use sleep masks if you are sensitive to that, but I think it would be simply be more ecological to turn exterior lights off at night.

Autumn Fairytale in Stepanavan
✓ Very cozy, warm atmosphere among the woods,😊 nice and caring staff 😊 They are dog friendly which is a big plus, because we always travel with our dog. And they have their own dog Jerry. He is very friendly and lovely dog. In the evening hosts organized party and we were treated with glintwine which is so nice of them. Breakfast at the place was really fresh and tasty. We will definitely back to try those amazing cookies again. Highly recommended
