Safarov's Family Hostel

I like this hostel, had a great stay there and totally recommend it

✓ This property is very clean, there’s a lot of space in the room, stuff is really helpful and very friendly, location os good, not far from the centre, you can take a bus, there is a bus stop near the hostel

The most comfortable hostel I ever met in Central Asia

✓ Even though I arrived in the early moring, they let me sleep in a free bed and staff was very kind and friendly. so cozy and nice place. You can meet people from all over the world and make friends.

✗ the shower room can be better I think.

Fabulous

✓ Staff were very friendly and helpful to me. Room provided everything I wanted and needed it to. Allowed me to store luggage for almost a full day after I checked out. Laundry service top and very affordable as well. Nice little coffee place downstairs as well. Very good value for money.

✗ Location isn’t the best for sightseeing spots, but I knew this before booking. Easy to get a taxi on MyTaxi and was very, very cheap to get into the centre or onto a metro line - so not much of a problem. Mattress in my room felt very hard and at the end of its life, so not the most comfortable to have slept on. Would also be good to have a breakfast provided (even if at an additional cost), I found it not the easiest to get anything for breakfast quickly nearby on a morning.

Exceptional

✓ I think Safarov Hostel was one of the best hostels I've been to within the last 10 months of traveling. It's comfortable, voll of light and perfect for people who work and travel. I loved Azizah at the Reception, even though it was her first few days working at the hostel, she was always there for me and helped me with all the stuff I needed. The cleaning lady is cleaning day and night, I think I never saw her taking a rest. If I ever lived in Tashkent, I'll directly try to make a contract with her. The kitchen is nice and it was a big plus for me since I like to prepare my own breakfast. The location is not directly in the center, and a taxi would be needed to go around, but the area around the hostel is also nice, and there is everything one needs close by.

✗ A small light by the bedside would be very nice to have.

Exceptional

✓ This is a really good, well facilitated hostel. Very clean and modern, with all the comforts you’ll need. It might lack the usual backpackers vibe but it’s a great place to relax with a huge lounge, well equipped kitchen, nice showers and fantastic coffee. The location is great if you’re heading to the airport as well. Recommended

really good, would stay again

✓ incredibly clean, good value for money, comfortable beds and great facilities. friendly staff. even though it is a bit far out from the city there are frequent and fast (10 min) buses to the centre.

✗ not much of a traveller vibe. also, reception doesn’t seem to be too clued up on giving out registration slips - not necessarily the end of the world but can be a bit stressful
