✓ Bright, comfortable, surprisinly spacious house in an excellent location - quiet, but within two minutes of great shops, pubs and restaurants and an easy walk to all the sights. Good Wifi..Plenty of good socialising space

✗ Could have done with more supplies of basics - dishwasher tablets, bin bags, tea towels, cleaning materials for the kitchen and bathrooms

A lovely house within walking distance of the city walls of York.

✓ This is a lovely house, in an excellent location for visiting York. We were a group of 6 and there was plenty of room to relax. lovely comfy beds and the whole place was spotless. we would definitely use it again. highly recommended

✓ Location was perfect. Short 15 mins walk to city centre but other shops bars and restaurants 5 mins away. House was super clean tastefully decorated with lovely bedding and comfy beds. Hosts very helpful and easy to contact. House has a street parking permit for 1 car Other parking close by at Nunnery Lane - 5 mins walk.

✗ Only thing to change is the 7th bed - sofa bed. The sofa bed is in the front lounge and not in a bedroom so it renders that front room unusable unless you are changing it back each day. That didn't work for us so effectively we could not use the lounge. The mattress is not great! However if you are going as a group of 6 and do not need the soda bed then it's 5 stars!

Perfect for a family stay

✓ Very well presented with good quality fittings and furniture Good range of different spaces to relax in including a secluded garden with table and chairs Very close to shops and restaurants. Short walk to York City centre
