Beach access in Tulum: Privatized. 400 peso parking for limited public beach! Try the preserve
✓ low season =quiet, away from the party noise of Tulum, close to grocery store, delightfully sparcely occupied for a Saturday
✗ Although on the road toward the beach, there are so many changes that access to the beach has been curtailed extremely . ALL private hotels along the 'hotel zone', commercial enterprises now buy and sell all that formerly was known as Tulum. The ruins are still there and worthy of an early morning visit but beyond that just shops, restaurants various substances to dull / enhance consciousness all seemingly satisfying the hordes of sunburnt visitors . I will go elsewhere now. But thanks for the memories of an extrodinarly pleasant coastal experience before it was converted into an adult mall.

✓ Perfect location. Super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are super clean and cute decorated. Pool is great too. Cleaning lady is very friendly and does a great job. Will def come back ❤️ a real good deal for the price you pay !

stunning hotel I want to move into :-)
✓ I fell in love with this place. it’s beautiful. such helpful staff too and they speak great English which was a big help to me! amazing wifi throughout, comfy bed and pillows, fridge in room, insane water pressure, didn’t want to leave
✗ shower flooded but they fixed it as soon as I mentioned it. hired a bike but the brakes didn’t work and think they will look into that. limited menu choice in the restaurant.

Amazing value for money
✓ Big rooms. Consistent hot showers with good pressure. Staff is really friendly and nice. The vibe of the hotel is great too.
✗ Electric plugs are far from mirrors. Would be nice if there were more lights in the rooms as it's a little dark at night and in the bathroom.
