Incredible nature experience

✓ We felt as if we we perched on a mountain all alone in a cosy cabin during our stay. The location of the property is incredible if you want to feel lost in the jungle with the quiet and tranquil surroundings. The room was super spacious and the window gave us an incredible view from bed. We made a fire one night which was incredible to do in Costa Rica and overall everything was perfect!

✓ I rarely write reviews and all I have to say is RELAXING! Very friendly staff. Great central location between Monteverde Park and Santa Elena. Great value. I’m afraid to give it too much praise because I don’t want it to be booked up on our next trip.

Beautiful property, great location, I’d stay here again!

✓ Beautiful property, comfortable cabin. We saw some cool birds and other critters right from our deck. Location is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, grocery store, bakery, ATM. The reception folks helpfully booked a day trip to Selvatura for us, and also a taxi to the Monteverde reserve.

✗ Some floor or table lamps and maybe a comfy chair in the living room area would make the space more usable and inviting. We moved the lamps from a spare bedroom and it helped. Maybe also add a few items in the kitchen, like a colander and another large bowl or two. Also the television was quite complicated and it would have been helpful to have how-to instructions.

Good place to stay while visiting Monteverde

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was a wonderful experience.

✓ I absolutely loved staying at this hotel. Each room is an independent cabin, unique and cozy. The rooms were quite spacious and very clean. My favorite part was being able to start a bonfire right in the cabin, which made it feel like we were camping! The hotel is located in a forest, with a lovely short trail right behind our cabin. It was so peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax. The reception lady was also very friendly and helpful. The location was also ideal for those who love being close to downtown but still want to stay in a quieter place. It only takes around 15-20 minutes to walk to the center, which was very convenient.

✗ There is no breakfast offered, but this was not a big issue since there are plenty of great restaurants nearby.

Our two day visit was wonderful and the person in charge, Rafael, was so helpful and informative!

✓ The deluxe cabin was very comfortable with its ample 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The beds and pillows were also extremely comfortable! The kitchen had all that you needed for cooking . The living room was spacious and the outdoor terrace was great!

✗ No one had any complaints.
