✓ We had 3 nights in this very large property on Alice Road, Aireys Inlet. We needed a property that was pet friendly (Beach Side is fully fenced), with parking and had two full bathrooms. Beach Side suited our requirements. We found overall the property to be rather old fashioned in parts and to be honest, well-worn and shabby, and not as clean as it should have been, with an unswept deck, and dirty windows. However, the kitchen was clean, as were the bathrooms. Please note that when we were there - early autumn- it was unseasonably cold, and the only heating in the entire property was in the sitting room. (The gas boiler, serving the radiators, was seemingly defunct). The bedrooms and bathrooms were glacial, and one bathroom had windows that were warped and did not fully close, adding to the freezing temperatures. We found the crockery old fashioned, but generally the kitchen was well equipped, the wifi was good, the beds comfortable and as an added bonus there were 2 smart TV’s. With some maintenance this could be a stunning holiday let, but it was rather let down by the lack of upkeep.

Dissapointing after a flight and arriving to a property not up to standard

✗ not clean and no linen that was previously arranged. After we checked in and there was no linen the agent arranged for someone to come.
