Disappointing

Convienent … needs a good clean !

✓ Great location, very convenient. Easy access to property.

✗ It’s very very tired . It felt like it hadn’t been cleaned ( litter in the bedrooms ) , so our stay was limited to simply sleeping as it was too late to look elsewhere . A Simple cleaning regime would help , and a welcome mat to sort the badly stained carpet at the front door to stop the poor first impression.

✓ It was a good location as my daughter was doing a gymnastics festival at lunar. Also thr chip shops and spar shop were very convenient.

✗ The properties heating was constantly on and the thermostat on the wall didn't change the heat. The toaster blew all.the fuses and we couldn't find the fuse box. Once we found this and got the power back on contacted the owner to let her know. But there was no replacement. Plus I asked about getting a later check out time and was told 11. The cleaners were there at 9.58am which wasn't ideal having already lost an hour.

Warm and comfortable for sleeping. Limited for self catering and dining. Not well supplied.

✓ Nice and warm. Comfortable beds and quiet even though on the road. Good standard of decor. Smart TV. Easy to find key and get in. Easy to find parking although it was not part of the property. Handy for shops if needed. Nice to have some tea/coffee and oil provided. Kitchen knife set very good and pans good quality. Nice strong shower.

✗ No cloths or brushes for washing up. One dirty tea towel for drying. This was especially disappointing given the threat of extra charges if the washing wasn't done. No response to email about this. No bin bags for rubbish. Half a toilet roll. Some pans dirty and needed washing before use. No potato peeler or wooden spoons for cooking. No door on third bedroom. Only 2 chairs at dining table in house sleeping 6. Lights in upstairs bedrooms go out very quickly if you stand in the wrong place. One bedside lamp didn't work Spotlights in bathroom not secured in the ceiling and hanging down. Shower very dark and could do with a light. Some exposed wiring in junction box on ceiling at front door.
