A very enjoyable stay

✓ Stayed in Apartments - predominantly French guests, the Hotel seems to be where most British stay. Food is excellent. Pool area couldn't be faulted. Both golf courses very good

✗ Bars in the aparments block are either very quiet or closed - we had to go into hotel for an evening drink

Do not expect a peaceful retreat

✓ Good location and good service of ferry to the beach offered for free to guests. Cleaning service of the apartment included in the price.

✗ Apartments are in a separate building to the hotel and that leads to confusion when reading reviews. Very poor value for money. Separate charge for things like safe and breakfast. Ants in the room. Crowded swimming pool not suitable for swimming. The building is used as the base for a family holiday travel company that organises activities all around the building for children and adults. That wouldn’t be a problem if the price of the room was cheaper to better reflect its value

Stay in the Hotel, not The Club

✓ The pool is lovely , as are the grounds. supermarket is excellent very well stocked and reasonably priced. The restaurant is very bright and spacious, food is good.

✗ We have used the resort on a number of occasions but only stayed in the hotel so decided to try an apartment this visit. I have to say I was very disappointed, it is cheaper than the hotel, but the reason for that is very apparent in the quality of the accommodation. We were taking my sister and her friend for the first time and had raved about the quality, so was disappointing to say the least. Our first room we were given was dreadful, too small for 4 adults, the sitting room area was very small, uncomfortable couch that could really only seat two. the balcony only had space and seating for two, was very dark and had a green algae all around the bottom of it, not very inviting. so really no adequate seating for the 4 of us to sit together, unless around the dining table. When I asked if we could move to the hotel and pay the difference this was not an option as we had booked through booking.com. I then asked if there was a better apartment we could view, we were given keys to a suite, charged at an additional €80 a night, we accepted this as it had far better outdoor space and the apartment was more spacious. Not sure why there is an additional charge as really booking.com do show the style of the apartment, on ground level with garden area as standard. The resort did waive the additional charge, which was good. However we had no warm water for showers, there was an offer to move again after our first night but as we were only there for 2 nights the hassle of packing up an moving was not acceptable, so cold showers all round it was. I emailed prior to arrival to ask various questions, one of which was regarding toiletries as the hotel provide excellent toiletries, was told these were provided, all that was there was wall mounted shower/hair wash. again very misleading and disappointing, we were provided with a few additional toiletries.
