✓ locks at the front door and room door. water was available for refills - save plastic bottles! hot water was avail (but see cons) clean and big private rooms. really value and good for money. location was excellent. tours provided from them was really cheap as well, its a steal. has a big area/place specially to dry your clothes. aircon works great.

✗ wifi is non existent, very cold or very hot water, there is an in-between option but thats still too hot. thats coming from a person who takes hot showers.

✓ All in all this was a good stay. Upon check-in I was told the place was sold out and I may have to be lodging in a different room. So off I went to Hostal Emanuel. Facilities were nice and one block from the main strip. Filtered water filling stations on each floor is a must in the Galapagos!

✗ As stated above, because of the sold out situation, I had to change rooms between days so this was a minor inconvenience. But the smaller room ended up being a good alternative.

Excellent budget option

✓ Frankly, i don't understand why are the reviews of this place so negative. Well, it's not a five star hotel but it hasn't even been said to be like that. It is actually just 4 rooms above a travel agency. It is clean, cheap and located in the city center. It has wifi, air conditioning, comfy beds, drinking water available and towels included. No kitchen or lobby/hanging area. It's well worth the price. Can 100% recommend for all budget travellers.
