Find a better place closer to city centre and not in the middle of no where.

✓ I liked how quiet the property was.

✗ 1. When I came they said the visa machine didnt work so I had to pay 3 day stay with cash, which i just planned for emergencies. 2. Even though it was quiet and away from the road, the location was absolutely terrible and it was a total hike to reach the hotel 3. It was hard to get a GG or Yandex up there and a total pain to call. The hike to the city centre would be EXTREMELY long 4. The shower had the hot nozzle for the cold and the cold nozzle for the hot. 5. The hotel service was non existent. The check in process was the most informal thing i have ever experienced. 6. We left our bags their early because checkin was later in the day. When we arrived back at night the property owner said the keys were in the suite door… Extremely alarming especially since i had my passport and laptop in there.

Toilet paper, only on demand

✓ The nature surrounding the hotel is amazing!

✗ Almost everything wasn’t as expected. 1) it’s not a 4-star hotel at all, 2) there isn’t any 24/7 reception, 3) the breakfast is bad, only sausages, eggs, rice and apricots, 4) rooms are cleaned only when you ask for it, toilet paper is given only on demand, 5) the road to the hotel is in a very bad state (but that’s not uncommon in Armenia), 6) at night you are waken-up by sounds of animal scratches on the walls (still don’t know whether it really is animals or it is just bad plumbing)
