Absolutely loved our stay at the Asterion Resort and loved Crete!
✓ The staff, the property, the pool, the breakfast, and the suite were all terrific. We were able to easily drive to explore that Chania region and area. The view from our room was fantastic. It was quiet, calm and relaxing at the book each day.
✗ We wouldn't change anything at the resort - however the beach is rocky rather than sandy but we found wonderful beaches withing a reasonable drive.

Overall, a fantastic place with wonderful staff!
✓ All the staff are super lovely! They always made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The location of the hotel is great, right on the beach and the room was fantastic.
✗ The pool is very small, especially for the number of guests when the hotel is full. The pricing of some of the food and drinks is also a bit steep at times, but there are some more reasonably priced things as well.

✓ To start with the hotel is super nice, clean, spacious and very modern. The staff and I mean every one in the staff so nice, professional and helpful. They really do everything to make your visit as nice as possible. I also liked the fact that you could access the beach from the hotel and that the hotel provided sun beds and bar service on the beach. The breakfast included everything that you want and more. One of us are gluten intolerant and they made it possible to have a nice experience with Greek food but gluten-free. The manager mister George made sure all the guests were happy and not lacking anything. There is free parking that is easy accessible, quiete rooms with wonderful bathrooms. I would really recommend this place for a vacation including both a lot of rest and if you want more excitement it’s right around the corner from Platanias and Chania. Easy to catch the bus or a taxi if you feel like it.
