Great hotel!
✓ Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff/reception, helped with a local sim, with transportation recommendation, with luggage storage and any- and everything else. Cute and fairly small hotel with only a few rooms, cozy and homely!

Relaxing and comfortable hotel close to SJO airport
✓ Great price for a room that was only 10 minutes away from the airport. This boutique hotel is in a quiet residential area, unlike many of the other hotels nearer the airport that are on busy streets or have flights taking off overhead, the area is very quiet. Yet, it was only a brief walk in either of two directions to access restaurants, food market, and ATM. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was spacious and comfortable, with both a mini-fridge and a microwave. The pool was sparkling clean, and there were seating areas both inside a spacious lobby area and by the pool.
✗ My room had a sliding glass door out to the pool, and whenever there were people by the pool, the noise traveled right into my room. Luckily, it was quiet at night, but if you were trying to sleep off-sequence, it could be quite distracting.

✓ Very quiet and safe location, close to the National Convention Center. Enough restaurants and shops close by. Swimming pool is nice. Room was very spacious, with large bathroom as well. Staff is super friendly and personal.
✗ Wifi in my room could have been stronger, as I was on a work trip I had to have a few video calls and that was just about OK with low resolution.
