perfect for my needs comfortable accommodating hosts
✓ Perfect for my needs I was traveling with my two dogs. The room was large, clean and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was served on the top floor, an open patio with a nice view of San Jose and the surrounding mountains. Great value extremely nice people.

Great, affordable stay
✓ The building is quirky, organic, with lots of character and the quantity of vegetation is impressive and well presented... It's a mini jungle adventure in the middle of the city. And the staff is super friendly and welcoming.
✗ It would be nice to have blinds in the room (in case you want a bit more darkness when sleeping)

nice other than overhearing someone being sick from the other room so wasn’t able to sleep
✓ the staff were absolutely lovely, super friendly and helpful
✗ I could hear everything from the other rooms, including someone vomiting all night… the hotel was not busy so wish I had been out further away

Hello, good morning, we are 1 block 1/2 from Tica Bus, waking is about 5 min. or less, taxis will charge you about $1 or $2.
