A cost-effective accommodation in Sandakan
✓ The location is very convenient, and you can see the sea from the top of the building. It's very comfortable to have the sea breeze blowing on the top of the building at night, and the employees are very good. The room is full of graffiti, and the downstairs is very close to the restaurant, shopping mall, and market,
✗ My bed is directly facing the air conditioner, and I don't know where the remote control for the air conditioner is, it's very cold

Social and fun hostel. Great place to stay in Sandakan.
✓ Lovely place to stay with a warm vibe and lots of social, common areas. This hostel is gorgeous! The walls are full of art and there is a ton of common space. It is quite a large hostel with multiple floors and a cool terrace. Location is water front in the middle of Sandakan and staff are great! Price was fantastic.
✗ Wasn’t super clean, however the shoes off tule helped a lot of keeping the floors clean. The beds are old but comfortable and the bathrooms all worked. It is obviously an older building but they have done a lot of work to make the place seem like home.

✓ Very helpfull with everything. Location right in centre of Sandakan. Breakfast very simple but ok! Nice bunck beds. Simple but good!
✗ Shower was not perfect but didnt bother us. It was clean.

✓ Awesome location that’s in the heart of the city and walking distance to the mall. The room and the air con was great. Lovely and friendly staff.
✗ The wifi wasn’t very good and cut out for the night. But that is Malaysia!

✓ The location, friendly staff ready to help with reservations and onward travel, the rooftop terrace and other common spaces for socialising.
✗ The kitchen area could be better maintained, the bathrooms and toilets too. Quite inconvenient not to have a sink with running water in the kitchen itself!
