How Wonderful to be Woken during the Night with Owls Hooting...
✓ Couldn't believe such a beautiful Château was only rated as a 3-star. Wonderful setting, with Owls hooting throughout the night. Lovely sensation.
✗ Walls are a bit thin and the inconsiderate neighbours we had were loudly talking way past midnight. Some people will just never change and only think of themselves.

Beautiful stay
✓ The area and the chateau is absolutely stunning. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are clean a bit old-fashioned.

Beautiful surroundings, gorgeous Chateau, excellent location
✓ Location was magical. Beautiful grounds to walk in on a lovely summer night. The Chateau itself was beautiful with authentic features you would expect from staying in an 18th century Chateau. Next door there was somewhere to have a nice cocktail and some food which was terrific. The room was very big and the bed was very comfortable as well has modern amenities (modern bathroom, TV, internet etc).
✗ There was one door that had been broken off its hinges. Wasn't a massive problem but just for aesthetics, I would have had that fixed before a customer arrived.
