✗ The service at the reception is extremely slow and in general if you need something-> Good luck. It took me >1weeks after several calls to get an invoice after my stay, because at the check out there was a system problem. Marcos and Artur who picked up the phone call from the hotel were super unprofessional and not supportive at all, the only person who helped me was Danielle (she understands customer service)

I would have left if it wasn’t for the pool

✓ The spa/swimming pool area and the gym

✗ the rooms don’t seem to have been upgraded since the 80s, bathroom was very old with malfunctioning shower and toilet

✗ Staff terrible as could not take a surfboard bag in. No help at all. Made family take a back route to take a surfboard as if it was a 5 star hotel ! Was a 3 star at best! Breakfast awful!

Amazing Staff truly if not for them I would give Wyndham Barra Hotel less stars.

✓ spacious room. right across the beach. the staff were actually the best part of our stay. one of the maids was super accommodating.

✗ no one advised us that we couldn’t open the balcony door and leave the A/c in the room. I went back and took a wipe out as I slid into to room. it was drenched in humidity
