✓ Perfect location. Good value for money
✓ location
✗ wireless connection bad
✓ I like the location the most and in fact that there is a good restaurant just the opposite of the hotel
✗ Breakfast could be much better
✓ So many good points but one major bad. The staff were excellent, the room was huge, the breakfast was excellent, and the gym and pool were enough to get by, Decent view for my upper floor, perfectly located near the park and food stores across the street and a 7/11 and each end of the street. But.....
✗ In my room the wifi was terrible!!! ...Both Upload and Download speeds are under 1 MBPS. The worst I've experienced in the whole of my Thailand trip. Not what you expect for a hotel of this price in a major city. It's a major problem if like me you work online. It cost me a bunch of lost money in expenses, When you work late at night you can't travel to another location to use other wifi. I couldn't even get data speed on my AIS phone in the room to pair from and the hotel engineer simply unplugged the room hub and plugged it back in. A 5 min fix before back to Under 1MBPS. Also, my room level had a strange smell in the hallway. They had some cleaning devices on the go every day to try and mask/clean it. The room didn't smell though. It's such a shame, If the internet worked I would of rated the stay 8 stars and very happy. The staff where excellent and very attentive. Im grateful for that part.
✓ Good location, gym and pool are very good
✗ Quite run down rooms, not providing small towels, A/C and WiFi are weak
✓ The breakfast was tasty, with nice buffet atmosphere. The gym was good and felt comfortable to exercise in. The pool was okay too. I stayed in a suite with a good price and value, but I didn't realize just HOW MUCH larger/nicer it was compared to their budget rooms (a friend of mine stayed in one that I saw), which are tiny! Go for the bigger spaces if your wallet allows, it's a much better value.
✗ In my room, the closet light switch was broken. Even when the closet door closed the light wouldn't go off. That was very annoying. One day the maid told me the laundry had run out of towels. I had to call back later in the evening to get more, which I thought was a bit unprofessional. One day when I was taking the elevator it got stuck, and I had to take the fire elevator to get down to the lobby. The hotel across the street, Bandara Suites, is a better experience since they don't have these mishaps. One more thing - the hotel needs to figure out which name it will keep. It has two names (Siri Sathorn and Quarter Saladaeng). This causes so much confusion when relaying directions to friends to taxi drivers to get to the hotel!
✗ Streets were fill with rats, eating from the rubbish bags laying there. Municipal or owners should put these inside rubbish bins so rats can't get to it so easily.
✓ The gym and pool were standouts. My room was small, but well laid out. Location good. Staff were generally good, but service was uneven.
✗ Advertise television with English channels...no sir not a one. After three staff tried to help I gave up. front desk did not even know what channels they promise in the printout in the room. Internet was weak. Policies were uneven. Rooms have seen better days. This is NOT a four star hotel.
