eclectic b&b that’s a peaceful hideaway!
✓ what a fantastic interesting place, it’s a bit off the beaten track but worth seeking out, it’s a little sanctuary of peace and quiet with beautiful fresh food!

Perfect place to unwind
✓ Perfect place to unwind away from the city, nestled in a small village right at the beach. We were the only guests and enjoyed all the comfort of Villa Matalai - amazingly tasty vegetarian food, really nice contact with the managers and owners. The upstairs open room was great - feeling the ocean breeze while sleeping. We felt straight at home and could have stayed at least for two more nights. Definitely recommend a kayak ride into the mangroves and a sunset drink at the swimming hut.

An oasis by the sea
✓ The location is great, by a lovely beach and a quiet fishing-village. To just sit and enjoy the wiew is like meditation. The staff was amazing, and the food was fresh and healthy. I really wanted to stay longer!

Villa Matalai is a home.away from home, warm decor and lovely, welcomin hosts.
✓ A very healthy breakfast of healthy fruits, homemade bread , granola , fresh juice, and other items. The hosts were always present for any special requests.
✗ All was perfect! Did not have any complaints! The hosts and villa workers are extremely pleasant and welcoming!

Exceptional
✓ Mama Sarah and her husband are really lovely people and made our stay at Villa Matalai more than enjoyable! The house and location are absolutely amazing and make doing nothing and relax very easy. The food is mouthwatering and the staff really attentive. Hopefully we can repeat our stay one day
