✓ Very convenient location if you're travelling on to Mombasa by bus, e.g. with Thameed (3min walk to bus station), small room but very clean. As long as there is no power cut you've got wifi, aircon etc. Good shower!
✗ Breakfast is okay, but basic. Room rather small, but for one night absolutely fine.

Great location, clean & comfortable accommodations in Tanga!
✓ The hotel staff is amazing! Justin gave me many recommendations on my travels, not just in Tanga, but all over Tanzania. The room was the perfect size for a solo traveler like myself. I enjoyed the hot shower too!! The location is very walkable and safe. I walked to nearby restaurants at night with no worries. I really enjoyed my stay at Phyllen Hotel...
