Located 450 metres from Kinosaki Onsen Train Station, Sinonomesou features hot-spring baths, karaoke and traditional meals. The Japanese rooms have futon beds, tatami (woven straw) floors and a flat-screen TV.

✓ The hotel staff is nice. You can drop off your bag and staff will guide you where to park your car. They will drive you to the car park and send you back at the hotel. Similarly, when you check out, there is a hotel van to send you to car park. There is yukata and basket provided for hopping the onsen.
✗ Though room is quite big, it is outdated. However, it is acceptable that it is japanese old style.
✓ I like the traditional vibes and that they served tea, hot water, and made the futon bed.
✗ That the room looked run down, and we paid the same price as our friends and got a room with no extra side room and no shower.
✓ Amazing dinner included, there's so much different food to try and LOTS of food!! There's a lot of staff that work there and they were always available - I believe the owner lives there. You also get an onsen pass so you can visit 7 different onsens while you're there.
✗ English skills among staff was very very limited. Had to use google translate all the time, but for us, that was totally ok!
✓ The owner is very friendly and helpful. Free pass to all of the 7 onsen which is bonus. The dinner and breakfast was very good and value for money.
✗ The bed a bit too hard.
✓ Everything from the onsite onsen, the spacious Japanese room, the free pass to other onsens, the cleanliness, the accessibility of the location, the pretty yukatas and the friendly staff.
✗ Maybe more English speaking staff but they will try and help you.
✓ The location is good The staffs are willing to help even they can't speak English Onsen is good The price is really good for this area
✗ It's smelly in the staircase that suspected from the decorated coral but no smell in the room or other area
✓ Room size was great. Onsen included in room.
✗ No parking at location, hotel will guide and provide you a shuttle to remote location to park the car
✓ Location was perfect, wonderful town, my room was beautiful. Staff was wonderful but short with you.
✗ COVID is still a thing in Japan, so food services were limited. I said staff was short, because no one spoke any English, not a fault on them though. I was the only Gaijin in town that I noticed. haha Also, no showers in the room, I have tattoos so was not allowed to use Onsen in hotel, a morning shower would’ve been nice.
