Relaxation and sunshine
✓ Very comfortable room, spotlessly clean with immaculate linen. I had a nice garden room which looked out to the pool which was relaxing and I think good value for money. The pool area and common areas are clean and welcoming. The beach is on the doorstep but don’t expect to swim (as I did) because it’s prohibited (strong undercurrent apparently). Fantastic restaurant YUE - which I thoroughly recommend and the breakfast buffet had so much to choose from and was always plentiful the

This hotel doesn't seem to see foreigner guests very often. I had lots of language difficulties
✓ Facilities and location is good. The neighboring 4-Points Sheraton shares the facilities. The breakfast was good and lots of choices. Coffee was so-so. I had lots of language difficulties though, as most staff doesn't speak English, but the management tried to support me with this.
✗ Check-In took more than 1/2 hour. The guys at the check-in didn't know how to deal with a foreigner. The clerk was not able to operate the photocopy machine to copy my passport. And they were unable to let me make my payment with my overseas credit card, so I had to use my AliPay for settling the bill. Very disappointing for a Sheraton hotel where I expect a certain international standard. The other day the room cleaning knocked at my door and was about to come in even though I had the DND sign ON (double-checked it after this incident). Not my understanding of privacy.
