✓ Room was clean and smart a lot bigger than expected for a single.

Lovely Hotel

✓ Breakfast very good. Good choices. Evening meal was well cooked. Room was massive. En-suite facilities perfect. Staff very friendly. Would have stayed longer but itinerary didn't allow.

✗ As a smoker would have liked somewhere to sit and covered over - Smoking area is in the car park.

✓ Location: on the edge on town (but only 5 mins walk to the Barter bookshop and town) On a junction so could have been noisy, but was in fact, really quiet. Basic room booked so had little expectations; room was fine, good facilities, wasn’t there very much so room shape not too important. Didn’t eat there at night so can’t comment but other people’s food looked good. Breakfast was wonderful; such a choice and such generous portions,.. Great local bar. Staff were really friendly and helpful. There were lovely people serving breakfast and the reception staff were very helpful in allowing me to leave my luggage in reception for many hours after I checked out (so I could see the town) But can I commend Tyler in particular in being exceptionally helpful and friendly.
