Except the door lock is not easy to open. Other experiences are good

✓ The property is clean and location is good. Nearly the castle.

✗ There is only one thing the property needs to improve. The door lock to enter the room is not easy to lock. It takes a long time for the key to be aligned before the door can be opened. I think you need to check the door lock.

A beautiful apartment in a perfect location for visiting the Castle and town of Windsor.

✓ The property was a pleasant 5-10 minute walk from the Windsor and Eton Train Station. I was sent a very short video explaining how to get the keys and access the property which was extremely helpful and made the process straightforward. The apartment was in a brilliant location, just a 5 minute walk from the Castle and from the main shopping and restaurant area. The apartment was spotlessly clean, bright and airy and I was able to open the windows a small way which is a bonus as in some upper story apartments you can't even open windows. The street below was not too busy, just a short period of traffic noise at rush hour audible with the windows open but not to a disturbing level. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, pans and utensils and there was salt and pepper and some olive oil, as well as one or two unopened, in-date food items in the cupboard, possibly kindly left from another guest. There was a coffee pod machine with 6 coffee pods for my 2 night stay which was generous as well as some long life milk. The cooker was spotless and easy to use. The bathroom was spotless with a strong shower. Towels were fluffy :0). There was a nice hairdryer (and washing machine and and iron, which I didn't use). There was an abundance of mood lighting which was a real bonus in a rented apartment - a standard lamp and side lamps. There were plenty of power sockets for iPad/phone etc and the wifi was strong. The bed was comfortable and the bedlinen pleasant to sleep in. The pillows were good (for me - I know pillows are a personal choice). When I had a query with the host (I couldn't find the cutlery) they got back to me immediately (the cutlery was in a drawer at low level and I hadn't seen it, even though it was labelled 'cutlery'). Basically the apartment was in a perfect location and provided absolutely everything needed for a really excellent stay in Windsor. And the price was extremely reasonable for the area.

✗ There was nothing that I didn't like but travellers with poor mobility or with lots of luggage should be aware that there are 3 or 4 short flights of stairs to reach the property which, I think, was on the second floor. I don't believe there was a lift.

We had a fabulous time in Windsor. Certainly exceeded our expectations.

✓ Host went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay here possible, kept in communication with us until he knew we were settled and happy. Unit is beautiful and in a great location. Would highly recommend.

✗ There was nothing we didn’t like. Location perfect. Steps from Castle and train station.

All in all the best apartment I have stayed in.

✓ Stylish and spotlessly clean. Well equipped with everything required my stay. Bright room with three large windows.

✗ On the second floor with no lift. Didn't bother me but some might find the stairs difficult.
