✓ Breakfast was fine, bread eggs jam tea Everything you get from them is great considering where the community is located in the remote mountains. In a big city the score might be lower but here the experience is worth a 10 go for it.

Homestay

✓ Really beautiful location in the mountains. The owners' daughter was a delight and she kept me company playing in the evening and morning. Wifi worked well. Pickup to and from Quba was 40 manat each way about 2 hrs. Delicious dinner every night 10 manat and they provided vegi option; rice, fries, salad, lentil soup, bread, fried veggies. The 2 rooms have a big dining table inside so you can eat dinner inside your room. There is only a squat toilet outside and one outdoor sink to wash your hands. No proper bathroom indoors. But it's fine for 2 days and most of the bathrooms in the village are like this. The building from the photos was being repaired so the rooms were not like the photos. They said the other building is much more comfortable with a proper toilet and shower. This building isn't where it shows on google maps; it's up the road. When the other house is open, it should be much more comfortable.

Nice little home away from home.

✓ Staying here was one of the highlights of my Azerbaijan trip. The name of this property should be Rehman’s ECOMAMA as people around village know less about this place, if you are looking around for this place just asking the name of this guest house.Pro tip-Better ask for Rehman’s guest house.Rehmaan is a very jolly host and there are numerous things to like about this place. First of all Rehman’s cute little daughter is in itself an entertaining hostess. Then Rehmaan has a very nice and obedient dog name FULL STAR.If you are lucky then Full star will take you to a trek into the mountains……believe me , yes he will take you trekking and he knows the place better so always follow him. I really liked the numerous tea served with home made cherry jam in the cold mountains. Breakfast served here was delicious too and on top of that they have nice supply of hot water for shower. I really liked the vibes of this village and the scenery around was mesmerising.

✗ Nothing as such. Can’t expect much from this small village town.It gives a feeling of nice Caucasian old village.

Amazing place to stay in Xinaliq

✓ Very welcoming hosts with the sweetest daughter. The family cooks delicious food (you can buy dinner separately). The bed was comfortable, with many blankets, so I wasn’t cold at all. The toilet is outside, always kept clean and with toilet paper supply. The shower also works great, though unfortunately there was no warm water during my stay.

✓ The host family is super friendly. Food is all cooked at home and they even make their own bread. They have a little daughter who is just a delight to hang around with. But bear in mind everything is basic here since it is in a very remote village. If you come with minimal expectations and willing to make compromises, then you will have a great stay here. The villagers are extremely friendly and helpful people.

✗ Electricity supply to the village is temperamental. But they say this is normal.

✓ The owner is an incredible person! Speaks english, and will prepare you an amazing. dinner and breakfast for an addittional fee, what definitely worth it. A true homestay!!

✗ Toilets need some improvements, but is the local experience!

Extremely nice host family

✓ Good location, in the middle of the village Facilities are like they are described here, outside toilet, but you know that already when you book. Very friendly hosts. Rakhman drove me to the Qriz for the Qriz - Xinaliq hike. A must-do! Very nice breakfasts and dinners and tea at any time of the day
