Chilly but beautiful hostel

✓ The hostel has a very homey feeling and gorgeous art work on the walls. Plus, probably the most comfortable couches I’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying! I arrived way before checkin was supposed to be and they were very accommodating and friendly.

✗ I was freezing all night… the hostel is kept cool and you’re only given a very thin sheet for warmth, plus the pillow felt like 5 pieces of fluff in a giant pillowcase 😕 tried to talk to the front desk but nobody was on at night.

✓ The hostel has a great structure, good location, clean, spacious and confortable rooms, good kitchen!

✗ The place smelled like weed. It was not always easy to find someone at the reception, they were helpful but not so friendly.

Great value for Costa Rica.

✓ Gigantic bathroom in our 6 bed dorm. It was bigger than the actual dorm room itself. Functional kitchen & helpful staff. Individual bunks with curtains for privacy.

✗ Dorm room door was broken and couldn't be closed. Would let in light, noise & bump with the wind all night long Needs to be addressed immediately and seems it's stayed this way for a while.

✓ Super friendly staff, even allowed me to cancel a bed that I booked by mistake! Breakfast ok, nice place to relax and socialise, comfy bed and good locker

✗ Kitchen could be better equipped and bathroom needs some renovations
