✓ The room was quiant and wasn't bothered during my stay by anyone. It was booked for great value as it did what it needed for nothing too costly.
✗ The heating wouldn't turn on, although normally I wouldn't have an issue as I don't use heating, it was a rainy weekend and wanted to dry my jacket/socks. The shower room was very small and had a hard time closing the showers doors. The sheets of the bed were stained which bothered me.

✓ I booked the hotel because of its location at Haymarket (just opposite the hotel), as I had an early morning train (and a late arrival the night before). It fit the purpose, the bed was a tad to soft for my liking, the room was big enough, the build in bath room/shower looked a bit old, as the rest of the hotel. I arrived just in time before closure of receiption, there is no option to check in after 10 pm! Good communication with the hotel before arrival, as they informed me about an issue with their card machine and that I had to pay in cash!

A bit of a disappointment
✓ Their was no TV remote in the rather crampted room and reception couldn't locate a replacement. Also the bed was very old and probably won't last much longer before doing someone harm Location however was perfect

The suite is on the middle floor, one flight of steps. We do not have lifts in the hotel and the building is a listed building as it is part of a piece of history, so there isn't a way to make too many modifications to it.

Check in and reception is open from 14:00 to 22:00. We do not operate a 24hr check in facility.
