✓ The staff was pleasant, parking available
✗ There was no daily cleaning of the room and no change of towels, only one free electrical socket in the room
✓ Nothing. I liked nothing about the place, though the front desk person was nice enough.
✗ After my original hotel screwed up my reservation, I booked this place. Let me tell you this: cabana might be in the name, but that doesn't make it habitable. When my Lyft rolled into the little parking lot, my soul left my body. I wasn't expecting the Ritz, but this place gives off Bates Motel vibes from the jump. Walking in, the place reeked of cigarettes, weed, and old sex. The guy at reception was AWOL at first, but was nice enough when he showed up. Check-in was weirdly formal. He asked for cash, but accepted my credit card and ID. He then took ages photocopying them. If watching someone make hard copies of my personal details didn't raise red flags, the hand-scrawled note listing the Cabana's "per hour" room rates certainly did. I'm not judging anyone, but I was alone and didn't want to be bothered or propositioned. I told myself I'd just bolt my room. Sadly, my door barely closed and did not seem to lock. The security latch had been ripped off the wall, and there was no chair to put in front of it. The room itself was dark and claustrophobic, with wet spots on the bedroom and bathroom floors. (I found one such spot in my stocking feet; I immediately tore off my socks and put on my shoes). The room smelled of funky bucket water, and the bathroom was dark with a heavily stained tub. Something was wrong with the window a/c unit - like a major piece had been ripped off the front. Whatever was missing made the room feel even more open to the outside world, which was disheartening since I was on the first floor. I wanted to flee, but it was late, and I was out a ton of money. I took the meager towels provided and created a small "island" near the edge of the bed. I curled into a ball, taking care not to touch the sheets or pillows. I then dozed between stretches of hyper-vigilance for a few hours. I lit out of there at dawn.
✓ I had a leak in my room the staff immediately fixed it and moved me to another. Rooms were a great size.
✗ Rooms were not as clean as they could have been. The customer service was fantastic, but the level of cleanliness was subpar.
✓ Fhilthy place to stay
✗ Remodel and clean the room
✓ Clean
✗ The TV’ couldn’t mirror quickly and kept disconnecting to wifi.
✓ It not bad it a very good hotel place
✗ Everything was fine it was nothing to dislike about it
✓ Not bad for a one night stay
✗ Very laid back
✓ The place is a dundown dive. No phone in the room - it's ditty. Gross. Never again.
