✗ - Dangerous location - Cigarette smell - Every day you hear screams of women having sex (something scary) one night they even asked for help - Housekeeper never arrived - when a room ware - When a room was unoccupied, the housekeeper came to clean it at midnight

Weird they have smoking rooms. Otherwise great for a budget room.
✓ Reasonable location. Building seems new-ish(so why in the world are you allowing smoking?!) In good shape. Staff are great. Great for an affordable stay in nyc.
✗ Smoking in some of the rooms- the halls reek of cigarette BUT my room (non-smoking) didn’t smell. I don’t know why they allow smoking at all- seems like such a bad financial decision when it isn’t 1970. If you are smoke-sensitive would definitely avoid this place.
