✗ The food needs a lot of work. Some items were too salty, and some were underseasoned. We upgraded to the privileged amenities on the last 3 days to see if the upgraded dining was worth it and while the quality of the food did seem better for breakfast and lunch, the dinner at the Steakhouse was extremely disappointing. Overall, food and entertainment need significant improvement.

✓ The staff were amazing and very friendly. The grounds were beautiful and manicured. The pools were beautiful and the bartenders kept the drinks coming. I would definitely go back to this all-inclusive resort.

✗ The food was just OK, and the portions were small. Most of the restaurants were a li carte so you could always order more and a few times I did on the small side portions. Reservations were hard to get at a few restaurants, so plan your meals a day ahead, so you don't miss anything. I would forget to get a reservation that morning and I had to miss a few restaurants. The buffet was good with several options for breakfast and lunch.

✓ Loved the room, the location, the weather, the architecture and the beautiful flora and fauna.

✗ Making reservations for dinner was complicated. Could never get a space around the three pools to lounge. The staff misled us at times. My companion could speak Spanish so there was no excuse.

Amazing Stay

✓ The staff was exceptional and the premises were clean. The hibachi restaurant food was amazing and sushi was very fresh. The sports bar food was great as well, loved the hamburgers and nachos. I also loved the ice cream stand by the pool.

✗ There was no full length mirror in the room and the food at the buffet was just ok.
